This is a translation of the Italian text, which prevails in case of doubt.
1. Data controller
Visicatch, Italia. Contact for any request about personal data: info@visicatch.com.
2. What data we process
Website
- Beta applications: name, team or club, sport, role, email, any notes.
- Email updates: email address, date and proof of confirmation.
- Technical data: the provider hosting the website records IP address and browsing data for security and operation. To count visits we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which produces aggregate statistics (page views, countries, devices) without cookies and without identifying individuals. The website does not use profiling cookies; it only stores on the device the preference for light or dark theme and for the language.
- Surveys: answers to the website's surveys are anonymous. Only the choices made (sports, uses of the app), the free answers and, if given, the role (parent, coach, club…) and the age group are stored: no name, email or IP address. Personal data should not be written in the free answers.
App
- Account (needed for the director phone): email, name, sign-in method (email and password or Google), date of birth (only to check the minimum age and, in future, legal age for purchases) and version of the accepted terms.
- Data entered: teams, rosters, shirt numbers, schedule, stats and match reports.
- Match videos: recorded and kept on the phone of whoever films. They leave the phone only if the user chooses a live stream, publishing on a platform, saving to a service of their choice (for example Google Drive or an SD card, with the Android picker: Visicatch does not receive the file) or, with a subscription, the cloud archive.
- Technical data: phone model, app version and crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics), with an installation identifier.
- Connected channels (YouTube, Twitch, Facebook), only if the user connects them: name and identifier of the channel or Page and the permissions (tokens) granted by the platform, stored encrypted on our server and never on the phone. They are used to create live streams, announce scheduled matches and upload match videos when the user asks. We do not read or modify the channel's other videos.
- Support requests, only if the user writes to support@visicatch.com from the app: the message, the email address, the app version, the phone model and, if the user attaches it, the log of the connection between the phones (times, events and local network addresses). They are only used to solve the reported problem.
- Usage statistics, only with consent at first launch or from Settings: which features are used and for how long (Google Analytics for Firebase), anonymously. No videos, teams, player names or advertising identifier are sent. Consent can be withdrawn at any time from Settings.
Image analysis is used to choose the shot and happens on the phone: it detects shapes and the ball, it does not recognise people's identity. Videos are not used to train our models without separate, explicit consent.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Managing the account and providing the service: performance of the contract.
- Assessing applications and replying: pre-contractual measures requested by the data subject.
- Sending email updates: consent, confirmed with a double step and revocable in every email.
- Security, abuse prevention and crash diagnostics: legitimate interest.
- App usage statistics: consent, revocable from Settings.
- Legal obligations (for example tax): legal obligation.
4. People filmed and minors
Visicatch provides a filming tool. The club or person filming is an independent controller of the images they record or broadcast and is responsible for having the right to do so: notices and consents of the people in the shot, in particular of minors through those with parental responsibility, agreements with the host club and the venue. A public live stream makes the images visible to anyone: it should be considered with particular care for youth teams.
Young people and teenagers. The director phone requires an account. Accounts can be created from age 14: the date of birth is asked before creating the account and, under 14, the account is not created. The phones acting as camera or stats connect to the director with the QR code, without an account and without data identifying the person (only technical error reports remain): this way even the youngest can take part in filming. Usage statistics still require consent, and under 14 that of a parent. Subscriptions and purchases are for adults only. Live streaming platforms (YouTube, Twitch, Facebook) have their own minimum ages and rules for minors who stream.
5. Recipients and providers
- Google Firebase: account authentication, service functions, crash reporting (Crashlytics) and, with consent, usage statistics (Analytics).
- Cloudflare: website hosting, storage of applications and update sign-ups, anti-bot check on forms (Turnstile), aggregate cookie-free visit statistics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) and forwarding of mail for info@visicatch.com.
- Resend: sending service emails (confirmations, applications).
- Google: sign-in with Google, if chosen, and distribution of the app through Google Play.
- Live streaming platforms (YouTube, Twitch, Facebook or RTMP servers): they receive the video only if the user chooses them, under their own terms.
5.1 Google and YouTube (Google API Services User Data Policy)
Visicatch integrates Google services for account authentication ("Sign in with Google") and for live broadcasting to personal or club channels via the YouTube API Services. The YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy also apply.
- Data collected via Google APIs: email address, name, and unique Google account identifier (to enable sign-in); channel name, channel ID, and live stream key to broadcast matches to YouTube upon user request.
- Limited Use Disclosure: Visicatch's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will strictly adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Google user data is never sold or transferred to data brokers, is never used for serving advertisements or profiling, and is never used to train generalized artificial intelligence (AI) or machine learning (ML) models.
- Revocation of permissions and data deletion: The permissions granted to Visicatch can be revoked at any time from within the app (Settings → Platforms → Disconnect) or by visiting Google's security settings page at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Upon revocation or account deletion request (see Data Deletion), access tokens and channel data are permanently deleted from our servers.
Some providers are based outside the European Union. In that case the transfer is based on the European Commission's adequacy decisions or on standard contractual clauses.
6. Retention
- Account and data entered: as long as the account is active; deleted within 30 days of the deletion request.
- Applications: 24 months from the last contact.
- Update sign-ups: until unsubscribing; sign-ups never confirmed are deleted after 30 days.
- Videos in the cloud archive: for the duration of the subscription and for the following period stated in the terms of service.
- Tax documents: for the time required by law.
7. Deleting the account and the data
